What is Cacao Ceremony?

One of the deepest invitations from this Legacy lineage of cacao is to recognize that LIFE IS CEREMONY. So often we imagine that a ceremony, or even a cacao ceremony, can only occur under specific circumstances - at a sacred site like a temple, with a specific group of people, with a leader guiding the experience, only for special occasions… and so forth. But at the core of powerful ceremonies, what are the common threads? Deep presence, expansive gratitude, and focused attention and intention.

It all begins by going within, grounding to the Earth, quieting the mind, opening your heart, and calling in your higher guidance. Invite your body, mind and spirit to be filled with beautiful, restorative light. Listen for that whisper from your heart - from your Soul.

Ceremony can be deeply reflective and sacred. Ceremony can be playful and joyous (especially with the HaHa chant). Ceremony can be sensual and creative. Ceremony can be cathartic and full of tears. Ceremony can be profound and transformative. CEREMONY CAN BE ANYTHING THAT IS REAL. It’s all about the presence and intentionality you bring.
